Westel’s '777mobil' WAP portal offers entertainment with a unique solution that is a precursor of third generation services. In the '777mobil' movie center movie fans can view the current movie program, a short presentation of films with previews and can immediately buy tickets for the film selected.

With the '777mobil' movie center services it is simpler than ever to organize movie-going since customers can view the movie program, see previews and buy tickets with a mobile phone. Westel already offers its customers on the current GSM network a combination of the most up-to-date solutions - location-based service, video downloading, mobile commerce - having features similar to third generation services.
The mobile portal's TV and movie columns enable searching by various criteria such as movie, film, time and films released in the current week and various groupings also help, such as multiplex and art movies, and new releases. Navigation is substantially facilitated by the feature that all movies in Hungary are grouped not only by counties, but in the Near column the list of movies nearest to the user can be quickly and easily queried by pressing a single button. Of course, irrespective of the search method applied, customers can view in the database the data of cinemas, such as address and telephone number, as well as the list of films shown there, a short presentation of the films and with a Nokia 3650/7650 phone also short, few-minute previews of the films. The only thing the customer needs to do is to buy the ticket and this can be done immediately for movies in the Budapest Film group with the WAP function of a mobile phone. When buying a ticket the system identifies the number of the seats and the display of the mobile phone shows the location of the seats in the given room.
