From April 1, Westel offers a new benefit for its existing and new monthly fee paying subscribers. Uniquely in Hungary, Westel subscribers of all tariff packages can use half of their monthly subscription fee for making calls or sending SMS messages. So far none of the other mobile operators in Hungary have implemented tariff restructuring of such magnitude.

The discount is applicable for the Társalgó, Szervusz, Zöldzóna, Egyenlítő, Westel 100, Westel 200, Westel 300, Westel 400, Eurofon I, Eurofon II, Eurofon 111 and MobilMester tariff packages and is available automatically without the need for customers to register or apply for it. For example, the net 2000 fee of the Szervusz tariff package can now contain 45 minutes of calls outside peak hours to other Westel subscribers.
The unchanged monthly fee of the Westel 400 tariff package contains 120 minutes of calls in peak time or 166 minutes, that is almost 3 hours of off-peak calls within the network. In the case of night calls the net 3400 fee of the Westel 200 tariff package offers 170 minutes of calls within the network.
