Magyar Telekom has been granted an EIB loan for fixed line and mobile

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that it has signed an agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for a long-term financing that will be used to finance its future fixed line and mobile broadband investment projects.

Magyar Telekom has been granted a loan in the amount of EUR 200 million (ca. HUF 60 billion) by EIB through Deutsche Telekom AG as a financial intermediary. The loan is denominated in HUF and has a duration of five years.
