Egálnet website contest 2011

The award ceremony of the 2011 contest took place at Magyar Telekom’s headquarters building on December 20, 2011. This has been the third such contest since the launch of the program.

At the ceremony, the winners presented their websites and explained how they benefited from them. On behalf of the jury, Péter Novák and Katalin Szomolányi handed over the awards. Then Egálnet’s fifth birthday was celebrated over a cake served to the participants, who also used the opportunity to share their experience with each other.

The winners had been selected on the basis of their content and design merits.

Altogether 10 awards were handed out. Owners of the three best websites, as well as ones with the highest visit rate and the most votes cast each received a laptop with accessories, while the Special Award winners were given gifts. The following organizations were awarded:

3. Kárpátalja Youth Community

The website of the highest visit rate:
Mosonmagyaróvár City Dormitory

The website of the most votes cast:
Association of Diabetics, Eger

Foundation for the NGO Parliament and NGO Universities
Porrog and its Region Health Association
Association for Developing Kalaznó
Lipcsei Hiking Club
Time Train Reading Foundation
