From June 1, 2016 Telekom introduces new Travel&Surf EU roaming packages and offers even more favorable terms for mobile internet and telephone calls to subscribers roaming abroad in the summer season.

Further to using mobile internet, the new Travel&Surf EU roaming packages also offer favorable terms for calls and SMS while roaming in the EU1, as users of these packages are not charged the EU roaming extra fee. Calling home therefore is equal to making a domestic call into another mobile network. As an additional benefit, receiving calls is free of charge. Depending on the duration of the trip, 1, 3 or 7 day packages are available, the latter also including 1 GB data traffic. In addition, postpaid subscribers activating the package can use unlimited mobile internet on the Fon Wi-Fi network.

The Travel&Surf mobile application is worth downloading before leaving Hungary. As an additional advantage, users can monitor the roaming data usage, and it is also free to use it abroad. Furthermore, the Travel&Surf roaming can be ordered in SMS, using the Telekom application or on the Telekom website, as well as at www.telekom.hu/adatroaming.

In the frame of another promotion, between June 1 and August 31 Telekom automatically disregards charging the EU roaming extra fee for voice calls and SMS messages in all Next tariff packages, therefore with a Next M tariff package a subscriber travelling in the EU can make calls to Hungary and receive calls without limitations, free of charge. Additionally to the Next M and XL tariff packages, one can also order the extremely favorably priced EU Plus postpaid service.
