Telekom's Donation Line for Drifting Youngsters
Budapest, September 3, 2010 11:00
Those calling Telekom's Donation Line at 1788 will support the Career Pathways Model Program launched by the "Human" Vocational Training and Placement Supporting Foundation in September and October 2010.
The Career Pathways Model Program the "Human" Vocational Training and Placement Supporting Foundation launched in 2007 offers placement opportunities for youth aged 16 to 22 where they can obtain hands on work and professional experience, moreover they may even be granted a scholarship. In addition, those who take part in training have a chance to master a trade and be immediately employed at the place of training after finishing the program.
The Career Pathways Model Program is special due to the fact that mentors of the foundation play a key role in supporting youth. Their tasks among others include the constant monitoring of job ads, search for accommodating companies and contacting them personally if need be, on behalf of their mentees. Over and beyond the above the mentors' task is to constantly familiarize with the latest possibilities and requirements and to constantly monitor the fate of the youngsters they support. With the help of the mentors the foundation is enabled to provide the kind of help the children can receive neither from school nor their parents.
The purpose of the "Human" Vocational Training and Placement Supporting Foundation is to show the way for youth without a vision. They are hard to reach as they drift in their everyday life without any particular purpose and are at a loss about the future. This can turn into the source of serious troubles both for them, and, in the long run, for society at large as well. The most seriously exposed are those multiply disadvantaged young adults whose parents are unable to provide them the chance to study after their 18 years of age. Many of them have already tried their hands at several professions but so far they have not been able to obtain any qualification. Therefore the help they get from the Foundation is their last resort.
The "Human" Vocational Training and Placement Supporting Foundation is an especially public benefit foundation, which has been operating for 4 years now and a large number of the collaborators of which have come from public education. For more details about the organisation and the Career Pathways Model see their website at www.humanszak.hu.
