Through
its parent company Deutsche Telekom, Magyar Telekom is the official
partner of 2006 FIFA World Cup. Accordingly, T-Com and T-Mobile have
started several World Cup related programs (games, campaigns, promotion
events) in the recent weeks offering World Cup tickets and other World
Cup connected gifts to the winners.
In addition to that, Magyar Telekom welcomes all visitors at the
Telekom World Cup Park in the City Park which is open throughout the
whole period of the World Cup (from June 9 till July 9).
This is the perfect place for visitors who want to test their football
skills on well-built football grounds, and are ready to move/compete a
bit before and after watching the matches. Fans attracted by local or
broadcasted matches can fully enjoy the atmosphere of the World Cup
here.
In addition to on-site football matches, Telekom World Cup Park offers
other entertainments to its guests, too, who can follow the matches on
giant projector screens, may try the jumping castle, strand/water
football, beer tent and circular bar. At the stands of T-Com, T-Online,
and T-Mobile, guests may participate in various games, play table
football (foosball) and watch the events on projector screens.
Entrance fee to the Telekom World Cup Park is HUF 500, out of which HUF
200 is deductible from the price of goods purchased at the Park.
Using T-Com’s preferential service offered at the Park, the discounts
of the “Favorite Nonstop Plus” tariff package (i.e. HUF 0 minute fees)
are valid all day when making calls from the T-Com stand to T-Com
numbers; in this way, you can share your experiences with your friends,
too. Internet and IPTV can be tried at T-Online, and T-Mobile novelties
(“web’n’walk”, a mobile broadband HSDPA service allowing high-speed
Internet surfing and digital t-zones contents) can also be enjoyed.
