Matáv received the Recognition for Excellence Award founded by the Brussels-based European Foundation for Quality Management for its outstanding results achieved in the introduction of total quality management and excellence of the activities and operations of the entire organization. The award was presented today to Chairman-CEO Elek Straub in Parliament House. So far seven Hungarian companies have received this award founded in 2001.

Compliance with quality requirements plays a highly important role for the Matáv Group. Certain entities, functional areas and member companies of the Group have already made numerous achievements in the area of quality certification, attested by various awards and certificates (e.g. IISA-Shiba Award, Matrix certificates, National Quality Award, European Quality Award, ISO 14001 certificates).
