Budapest – December 14, 2017 – Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB, hereinafter the “Company”), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, hereby announces that on December 13, 2017, to enable the operation of the incentive program based on the new remuneration policy announced in the interim financial report on May 10, 2017, the Company purchased 59,839 Magyar Telekom ordinary shares (HU0000073507)at an average price of HUF 465 per share. The share purchase was carried out on the Budapest Stock Exchange through UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt., as investment service provider. Following this transaction Magyar Telekom holds 537,203 treasury shares.
