Decrease in the number of Magyar Telekom’s treasury shares

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider announces that as a result of the employee share allocation program announced on September 29, 2010 , the number of treasury shares held by the Company decreased from 419,747 to 390,862 on December 28, 2010.
