New integrated Strategy and Corporate Development Unit at Magyar Telekom

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: NYSE: MTA.N, BÉT: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: NYSE: MTA US, BÉT: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that a new Strategy and Corporate Development Unit has been set up as of September 1, 2009, replacing the former Alternative Businesses and Corporate Development Business Unit and Group Strategy Directorate. The new, integrated management unit will be headed by Róbert Pataki as Chief Strategic and Corporate Development Officer. As a member of the Management Committee, he will report directly to the Chairman-CEO.
