Magyar Telekom acquires Mobilpress

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: NYSE: MTA.N, BÉT: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: NYSE: MTA US, BÉT: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider, announces that it has closed the transaction to acquire a 100% stake in Mobilpress, one of the leading Hungarian mobile content producers and aggregators.
On December 13, 2006, Magyar Telekom concluded an agreement to buy Mobilpress. With the acquisition Magyar Telekom reinforces its leading position in the mobile content and enhanced services segments.
