No social security number (TAJ) is required for the 2005 dividend payment

Magyar Telekom (Reuters: NYSE: MTA.N, BÉT: MTEL.BU and Bloomberg: NYSE: MTA US, BÉT: MTELEKOM HB), the leading Hungarian telecommunications service provider today announced that, in contrast with its announcement made on December 22, 2006 regarding dividend payment for business year 2005 (“Please note that the modifications to the tax rules approved this week require private investors to provide the social security number (TAJ), as well.”) based on the interpretations of the relevant law, the social security number (TAJ) is not required for the payment of its dividend.
